1996-Up Club Car – Curtis 48v 325-Amp Controller

This aftermarket Curtis has a solid 325 amps of output. Do you know what the stock amperage of your golf cart’s controller is? Anywhere from 225 to 300 is what the factory sent off the line. Well, that’s not enough power to pull a wet noodle out of a pot, let alone power a golf cart, if you ask us. The bare minimum you can get away with is 300 if you do anything other than checking the mail on a flat driveway in your golf cart. But the lowest possible option should never be the target. Even if you don’t use it for much, a minor upgrade prepares you for the inevitable unforeseen circumstance.

This controller from Curtis will work on 36 or 48 volt Club Cars that use a series drive system. Be careful on the older thirty-sixers though, a lot of them did not have the 5k-0 throttle output this controller is looking for from the throttle sensor.
